Leona Nadjline

Leona NadjLeona Nadj was born and raised in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where she began her violin studies at the age of seven. She lives and works in the New York City metropolitan area as an active freelance violinist, playing regularly with the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, the Brooklyn Philharmonic, American Symphony Orchestra, the Long Island Philharmonic, and the American Composers Orchestra. Her Broadway credits include Beauty and the Beast, Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked. In the summer, she performs in opera productions with the Glimmerglass Opera. Leona earned a Master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Mr. Glenn Dicterow. She maintains close ties to her native Croatia, from whence she recently returned after a year in the position of Assistant Concertmaster of the Zagreb Philharmonic, the country's largest and most prestigious orchestra.
